Janelle Thomson

Janelle Thomson has extensive experience in child, youth, and family services, currently holding multiple roles at the City of Casey since July 2022, including Child Youth and Family Project Officer and Acting Policy and Strategy Lead. Prior to this, Janelle worked at Uniting Vic.Tas from April 2018 to July 2022 as the Southern Melbourne Family Services Alliance Project Coordinator and School Attendance Support Program worker. Janelle's earlier roles at Uniting Vic.Tas included Child FIRST/Services Connect and School Attendance Support Program worker. Janelle also volunteered as Office Administrator for the Kids Grieve Too program at the Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement from April 2009 to June 2012, and served as an Educator Developing Healthy Relationships at CatholicCare from January 2011 to January 2012. Janelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate degree in Psychology, both from Australian Catholic University.
