Sarah Martin

Sarah Martin is an experienced planner with a diverse background in municipal planning and policy development. Currently serving as a Planner - Policy for the City of Castlegar since January 2024, Sarah has held previous positions as a Planner with the District of Sicamous and as a Planner 1 with the Columbia Shuswap Regional District, among others. Sarah's career began in the planning field with the City of Courtenay, where various student roles were undertaken. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a focus on Urban and Regional Management from Vancouver Island University and a Diploma in Landscape Horticulture from Olds College.
