Valerie Wagner has extensive experience in street and traffic maintenance, currently serving as the Streets & Traffic Maintenance Superintendent for the City of Palm Springs since October 2006. In this role, Valerie oversees the maintenance, inspection, repair, and construction of city streets, as well as managing graffiti abatement, street sweeping, and responses to police and fire department issues. Additionally, Valerie has been a member of the Finance Advisory Committee in Cathedral City since July 2014, focusing on revenue enhancement and diversification strategies for the City Council. Previous roles include Equipment Operator II for the County of Riverside Transportation and Engineering Technician II for the City of Palm Desert, with an early career as Traffic Maintenance Lead Worker in Palm Springs and Streets and Transportation Commissioner in Cathedral City. Valerie holds education qualifications from Texas Christian University.
