Bree Shamsy Cprp

Bree Shamsy, CPRP, serves as the Special Events Manager for the City of Celina since November 2021, achieving the distinction of Employee of the Year in 2023 and contributing to the Marketing Department's success with multiple "Best In Texas" Awards at the Texas Festivals & Events Association. Previously, Bree held the position of Recreation Coordinator for the City of Highland Village from April 2019 to November 2021, where responsibilities included organizing twelve special events for over 16,000 residents and fostering partnerships with local sponsors. Bree also gained experience as a Recreation/Special Events Intern at the City of Highland Village and as an Administrative Assistant in the Kinesiology Department at the University of North Texas, where Bree earned a degree in Recreation, Event, and Sport Management, Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies.
