Christopher Monk has extensive experience in law enforcement and community outreach, currently serving in the Neighborhood Resource Unit for the City of Chamblee since May 2021, focusing on Community Oriented Policing Services. Previously, Monk worked as a Patrol Officer for the Georgia Tech Police Department, enforcing laws and school regulations, and as a Police Officer in the Army National Guard, where responsibilities included preparing for deployments and ensuring the readiness of a section. Additional roles include serving as a Special Management Response Team Lieutenant and Public Safety Training Instructor for the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, where Monk led training programs for probation officers. Monk holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the University of Phoenix and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Cyber Security from Southern New Hampshire University.
