Adam Cottrell

Adam Cottrell, GISP, serves as the Information Systems Director for the City of Charleston, WV since October 2021, previously fulfilling the role of GIS Manager from October 2011. Cottrell's extensive experience in geographic information systems includes positions such as GIS Analyst IV at Metro 9-1-1 and GIS Technician at Thrasher Engineering, Inc. Additionally, Cottrell worked as a GIS and Mapping Technician at Beckley Sanitary Board, focusing on the infrastructure of sewer and storm water systems. Cottrell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Marshall University.
