Alec May is an experienced investigator currently serving in the City of Chicago Office of Inspector General since June 2023. Prior to this role, Alec worked as an investigator for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services from February 2021 to June 2023. In addition to investigation experience, Alec has held positions in various capacities including a psychology intern at FIRST LIGHT PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES, a federal correctional officer with Volunteers of America, a research assistant at Purdue University, and an intern with Marion County Community Corrections. Early work experience includes roles as a security officer at G4S and a lifeguard at The Bridgewater Club, LLC. Alec holds a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College (CUNY) and two Bachelor's degrees in Law and Society and Psychology from Purdue University.
