Brandon Johnson

Brandon Johnson serves as the Mayor of Chicago, following a diverse career in public service and education. Previously, Johnson was a Commissioner for the 1st District in Cook County Government and worked as a Teacher at Chicago Public Schools. In the Illinois House of Representatives, Johnson held the role of Chief of Staff for the 78th District, and served as Director of Constituent Services in the Illinois Senate for the 39th District. Johnson's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services, both obtained from Aurora University.
