Molly Marcussen is an experienced planner specializing in long-range and sustainability efforts within the municipal sector. Presently serving as an Associate Planner for the City of Chico since December 2018, Molly supports the Climate Action Commission, manages the Climate Action Plan Update, and ensures project compliance with relevant regulations. Previous roles include Planner 2 and Recreation Coordinator 2 for the City of Corning, where Molly interpreted zoning laws, prepared technical reports, and initiated grant-funded programs. Molly's early career featured a fellowship with CivicSpark, where climate vulnerability assessments were drafted, and a position as a Compost Education Coordinator at CSU Chico, focusing on sustainability education.
