Patrick Major

Patrick Major currently serves as the Chief of Police for the City of Chicopee, a position held since April 2022. Prior to this role, Patrick held the title of Detective Captain at the Chicopee Police Department from August 2021 to April 2022, where command responsibilities included overseeing all investigative efforts and Special Operations. From June 2014 to August 2021, Patrick was a Detective Lieutenant, focusing on Special Investigations and Operations while managing various units, including the Narcotics Unit, Special Response Team, Marine/Underwater Response Team, Crisis Intervention, K9 Unit, and School Resource Officers. Patrick holds an Associate degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Quincy College.
