Valerie Soto is an experienced administrative professional currently serving as an Administrative Technician for the City of Chino Hills since August 2018, with previous roles including Administrative Assistant, Recreation Specialist, and Recreation Leader. Prior to this, Valerie worked as a Sales Associate at New York & Company from October 2016 to August 2018. Valerie holds a degree from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, earned between 2016 and 2020.

Chino Hills has always been a special place in Southern California. It is a place that is close in miles to large metropolitan cities and yet far in spirit. Virtually unchanged for hundreds of years, the rolling hills were home to a few ranches and homesteaders. A handful of property owners appreciated the beauty of the hills. The majority of the residents were red tail hawks, mule ear deer, ground squirrels, mountain lions, cottontail rabbits, and coyotes. It is the mission of the City of Chino Hills, in partnership with the community, to continue to develop and maintain the aesthetic beauty of the City, while fostering a safe and family-oriented environment. The City is committed to providing excellent customer service, effectively managing growth, and creating a viable financial plan to ensure the continued success of the City.
