Michele Clock Schrotenboer

Michele Clock Schrotenboer, MPA, currently serves as the Communications Manager for the City of Chula Vista, overseeing the Office of Communications and managing various projects and staff. Previous positions include Director of Public Information at Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District, where Michele led communications and advocacy, and Community Risk Reduction Program Manager for the County of San Diego, responsible for building community resiliency through award-winning programs. Michele's extensive background also includes roles in public safety communications, journalism with The Washington Post and The San Diego Union-Tribune, and research at Guidehouse. Educational achievements encompass a Master of Public Administration from USC and several relevant certificates focused on local government and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
