Binod Khatiwoda

Binod Khatiwoda is an experienced Project Manager at the City of Cincinnati since August 2021, specializing in preparing requests for proposals and reviewing submissions for the City Manager. Prior to this role, Binod served as a Civil Engineer III with the Illinois Department of Transportation, where responsibilities included preparing engineering plans and specifications, overseeing review procedures, and conducting intersection design studies. Additional experience includes various positions within the Illinois Department of Transportation spanning from a Construction Civil Engineer I to a Geotechnical Engineer. Earlier roles featured a Civil Engineering Co-op with the City of Chicago, case management with the Ethiopian Community Association, and assistant management at Village Discount Inc. Binod holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Material Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and has pursued further education with certificates in public policy, RDS, and sustainable cities.
