Debra Powledge

Debra Powledge has extensive experience in human resources. Debra is currently the Director of Human Resources & Civil Service for the City of Cleburne where they are responsible for various HR functions such as recruitment, selection, performance evaluations, and benefits programs. Debra also serves as the Equal Employment Opportunity Officer, Americans with Disabilities Act Coordinator, and Civil Service Director. Previously, they worked as a Risk Manager for the same organization. Prior to their current role, they were an HR Manager at Poly Trucking and an HR Assistant at Poly-America, LP. Debra'searlier experience includes working as an Office Manager at MIRA Enterprises, Inc., where they were responsible for HR administration and employee relations.

Debra Powledge completed their Associate's Degree in Science from Cisco Junior College in Cisco, TX between 1994 and 1997. Following that, they pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Human Resources Management at Tarleton State University from 2001 to 2007.
