Gina Ventre currently serves as a Program Manager in the Emerging Programs Office at the City of Cleveland - City Hall since September 2023. Prior to this role, Gina was the Owner of Heights Home & Pet Sitting from April 2019 to September 2023, where services were provided to over 40 clients, showcasing strong customer service and communication skills. Gina has extensive experience in the healthcare field, having worked as a Simulated Patient at Case Western Reserve University and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine from June 2019 to August 2022 and as a Research Editor at Cleveland Clinic from June 2011 to April 2019. At Cleveland Clinic, responsibilities included managing the HVI Update publication, editing clinical research manuscripts, and preparing grant proposals, including successful applications to the National Institutes of Health. Earlier, Gina held the role of Grant Editor (Contract) at Case Western Reserve University, contributing to a $67 million grant renewal application. Gina holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Case Western Reserve University.
