Rhonda K. Brown is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in arts, culture, and advancement roles. Currently serving as a Senior Strategist in the Arts, Culture & Creative Economy sector within the Mayor’s Office of the City of Cleveland, Rhonda has previously held significant positions such as President of the City Colleges of Chicago Foundation and Vice Chancellor of Advancement, where net assets were doubled over two years while distributing approximately $9 million in scholarships annually. Additional experience includes leadership roles at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago Theological Seminary, Governors State University, and The Joffrey Ballet, focusing on fundraising, development, and strategic marketing. Rhonda’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History/Studio Arts from The Ohio State University and a Master’s Degree in Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
