Patrick W.

Patrick W. has extensive experience in public service and advocacy, currently serving as the Mayor and a Councilmember for the City of College Park, MD since December 2007. Previously, Patrick held the position of Public Policy Analyst at the National Disability Rights Network, focusing on issues affecting people with disabilities. Additionally, Patrick served on the Board of Directors for Equality Maryland, including a term as Secretary, and worked as a Staff Attorney for Disability Rights DC, co-counseling on significant litigation. Early career experiences include a Skadden Fellowship at Whitman-Walker Health and a Law Clerk position at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Patrick holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and has completed certificates in Senior Executives in State and Local Government from Harvard Kennedy School and Leadership Greater Washington.
