Denise Bachmann

Denise Bachmann is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in system administration and support. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Administrator for the City of Columbia Government since December 2017, Denise provides Tier II and III support, with a focus on server and software management, including systems like Genetec and Active Directory. Prior to this role, Denise retired from the United States Coast Guard after over 22 years as an IT Resource Systems Manager, where responsibilities included supervisory support and maintenance for C4IT systems across multiple states. Additional experience includes server administration at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and C2 System Administration at Shaw AFB. Denise holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of South Carolina and an Associate's degree in Computer Science from North Central State College. Credentials include Security+ ce and DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
