Henry M. Simons

Henry M. Simons, MHA, is an experienced professional in operations and health care administration. Currently serving as the Assistant City Manager for Operations at the City of Columbia Government since August 2019, Simons previously held the position of System Director of Support Services at Palmetto Health from September 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, Simons worked at Palmetto Health Richland as the Director of Security & Volunteer Services from April 2003 to September 2016. Educationally, Simons earned a Master's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of South Carolina between 2012 and 2014 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Benedict College, obtained from 1995 to 1999.
