Linda Sharp Cpa, Cimt

Linda Sharp, CPA, CIMT has a strong work experience background in finance and accounting. Linda started their career at Safeco in 1996 as an Accountant, where they worked until 1999. Linda then moved on to Schorb & Schmersahl LLC, where they held the role of Audit Manager from 1999 to 2008. In 2008, Linda joined the City of Columbia (Illinois) as the Director of Finance/Treasurer.

Linda Sharp, CPA, CIMT, has a diverse education history. Linda completed their Master's work in Tax Law at Fontbonne University from 2001 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Mississippi University for Women between 1982 and 1984. Before pursuing accounting, Linda received a BS degree in Business and Management from the University of Maryland, attending from 1979 to 1981.

In addition to their education, Linda acquired the certification of Certified Illinois Municipal Treasurer (CIMT) from the Illinois Municipal Treasury Association in June 2012.
