In 2016 The City of Corner Brook will be celebrating its 60th Anniversary as an incorporated municipality.  To mark this occasion a yearlong celebration of events are planned which will feature community events, historical and cultural tributes, festivals, sporting events, and much more.  

The Celebrations will be a tribute to our past and will help shape the direction for our City’s growth in the future.  We see these celebrations as a catalyst to boosting the tourism industry of our province, instilling a sense of community pride in our residents and raising the visibility of our City at the national and international level and we are very excited by the potential this event can have on our community.
