George Holland

George Holland currently serves as the Chief City Auditor for the City of Corpus Christi since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Risk and Compliance at Uplight from August 2020 to August 2022, and Director at SB&H Advisors, LLC from January 2014 to September 2020, where financial and IT advisory services were directed for a global services firm. Additional positions include Audit Manager at Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd., Adjunct Professor at Kenan-Flagler Business School, and Director of Internal Audit at Builders Mutual Insurance Company, among others. George Holland’s extensive career encompasses leadership roles at Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, L.L.P., Ernst & Young, Deloitte & Touche, and ALCOA, with an academic foundation rooted in a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Texas A&M University.
