Tracey K. Cantu

Tracey K. Cantu serves as the Assistant Director of Development Services for the City of Corpus Christi, a position held since January 2004, overseeing the planning and management of departmental operations, budgets, and strategic initiatives. Tracey has held various interim and leadership roles, including Interim Director of the Neighborhood Services and Parks & Recreation Departments, as well as Assistant Director in the Department of Communication & Intergovernmental Affairs. In previous roles, Tracey directed code enforcement activities, ensuring compliance with various municipal codes and regulations. Tracey began a career in loss prevention at Target and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis on Criminal Justice Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington.
