Ashley Kruse

Ashley Kruse is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Officer for the City of Council Bluffs since January 2017, where responsibilities include directing the city’s communications strategy, media relations, and online presence. Prior to this role, Ashley was the Director of Recruitment at Iowa Western Community College from July 2007 to January 2017, overseeing recruitment, registration, and orientation efforts. Additionally, Ashley gained experience as an Event Planner for AAA Rents & Event Services from May 2006 to July 2007. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in English from Iowa State University and a Master’s degree in Organizational Management with an emphasis on Economic Development and Entrepreneurship from Peru State College.
