Ken McClure

Officer / K9 Handler at City of Council Bluffs

Ken McClure has extensive law enforcement experience, serving in various capacities since 1991. Currently, Ken holds the position of Officer and K9 Handler with the City of Council Bluffs, specializing in the Special Operations Unit while also participating in the US Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force and acting as the CBPD Peer Support Coordinator. Prior roles include Detective and Vice/Narcotics Investigator for the Southwest Iowa Narcotics Task Force, where Ken was involved with SWAT, the FBI, and the DEA as a Task Force Officer. Previous experience includes roles with the United States Marshals Service, Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, all focusing on fugitive and narcotics investigations. Ken began the law enforcement career with positions in Atlantic and Audubon Police Departments, contributing to investigations and training. Ken holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from IWCC and completed the 135th I.L.E.A. Basic Academy.
