Bob Wells

Bob Wells is an experienced professional with a diverse background in civic leadership, technology, and education. Currently serving as an Adaptive Snowsports Instructor for the Vancouver Island Society of Adaptive Snowsports since December 2021, Bob has also held the position of Mayor and City Council Member for the City of Courtenay since December 2014. Bob's extensive contributions include roles such as Comox Valley Regional District Director, Comox Valley Water Committee Chair, and Vice Chair of the Comox Valley Regional District, among others. Prior to these roles, Bob owned and operated My Tech Guys as President and CEO, where expertise in technology and computer systems was demonstrated. Additionally, Bob has experience in curriculum development with the BC Ministry of Education and various roles in the tech industry, including at Shaw Communications and Silicon Garden Computer Co-op. Bob's educational background includes studies at the University of Victoria, focusing on technology, theatre education, psychology, and political science.
