Susie S.

Susie S. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2004 to 2021. Susie has held various leadership roles in different organizations. For the past seven months, they have been working as the Director of Recreation, Culture, and Community Services at the City of Courtenay. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2021, they worked at the City of Vancouver, where they held positions such as Managing Director of Non-Market Housing and Social Operations, Manager of Recreation Services, Director of Recreation (Acting), and Senior Project Manager of Community Centre Association Partnership Renewal. Before their time at the City of Vancouver, they were an Advisor at Gamma Phi Beta Sorority from 2008 to 2015. Susie also has experience working at the YMCA of Greater Vancouver as a Program Manager and Operations Manager of Child Care from 2007 to 2012. In addition, they worked as an Adventure Ocean Manager at Royal Caribbean International from 2004 to 2007.

Susie S. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Political Science from the University of British Columbia. Susie attended this university from 1999 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration in Leadership-Executive Management from Royal Roads University, where they studied from 2007 to 2010.
