David Griswold

David Griswold serves as a Police Sergeant with the City of Covington, Kentucky, since August 2020, following a distinguished career at the Covington Police Department as a Police Officer from December 2007 to July 2020. In that role, David Griswold developed expertise as a Taser and firearms instructor and served as an armorer for both Sig Sauer handguns and Remington firearms. David Griswold's background includes experience as a Police Officer with the Newport Police Department and as an Armed Security Guard for the Internal Revenue Service. Additionally, David Griswold has prior experience as an Assistant Manager at Uhaul and served in the United States Marine Corps as a Basic Rifleman. David Griswold's education includes completion of law enforcement training at the KY DOCJT Academy of Police Supervision and the KY DOCJT Basic Academy at Eastern Kentucky University, along with studies at Mohawk Valley Community College.
