Engineering Services Manager at City of Culver City

Mate Gaspar is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in public service and management. Since June 1999, Gaspar has served as the Engineering Services Manager for the City of Culver City. Previously, in 2021, Gaspar held the position of President at the City and County Engineers Association, where responsibilities included facilitating networking and addressing the professional needs of engineers across Los Angeles County. Additional roles include serving as a Council member for the Palms Neighborhood Council from 2006 to 2010, and working as an Associate Engineer at Charles Abbott Associates from 1994 to 1999, as well as a Student Engineer for the City of El Monte from 1991 to 1994. Gaspar earned a degree in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, completing the program in 1994.
