Kavitha Aravindhan

Kavitha Aravindhan is a Communications Specialist focused on community outreach at the City of Cupertino since December 2017, where responsibilities include developing creative assets across various media and collaborating with community leaders to enhance communication strategies. Previous roles include Senior Communications Assistant and Video Intern, where problem-solving and technical skills were utilized to improve city services and support video production. Kavitha also served as the Student Director of the University of Humor Outreach Program at the University of Redlands, organizing events that promote teamwork and character-building through improvisational theater. Kavitha gained early experience as a Journalism Intern at City News Group, Inc., writing and publishing local news articles. A Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing was earned from the University of Redlands in 2016.
