Cheryl L. Mayo

Cheryl L. Mayo, M.S.P.H., currently serves as the Budget and Contracts Administrator for the City of Dallas, bringing extensive experience in human resources and strategic planning. As the Chief Strategy Officer and founder of Mayo Consulting Associates, Cheryl provides consultative services in healthcare, talent management, corporate sustainability, and community relations, and has published a motivational book titled "TRANSITIONS: Meeting God in the Midst of Change." Previous roles include Community Relations Manager at the Dallas County District Attorney's Office, Senior Director of Population Health and Insurance Services at Children's Health, and Executive Director for the West Dallas Community Centers. Cheryl's early career includes positions in pharmaceutical representation and human resources leadership at HCA/Medical Center of Arlington and Parkland Health & Hospital System.
