Jake Ettinger

Jake Ettinger currently serves as a Policy Advisor and Community Liaison for Council Member Chad West in the City of Dallas, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jake worked as a District Representative for State Senator Ben Allen in the California State Senate from October 2022 to March 2024, and as a Field Communications Deputy in the City of Los Angeles for Councilman Joe Buscaino from August 2021 to September 2022. Experience also includes a Senior Policy Officer role with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, focusing on political and economic reporting in Chile and Ecuador, and various internships in public policy and public relations. Jake holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from the University of Southern California, completed in 2018.
