Sharon Schauer

Sharon Schauer has extensive experience in public safety communications, currently serving as a CAD System Administrator for the City of Dallas since June 2012. Previous roles include Business Analyst at TriTech Software Systems, Dispatcher for Midlothian PD, and Communications Manager at the Southwest Regional Communications Center. Schauer has managed large communication centers, provided training and evaluations for dispatch staff, and worked closely with CAD vendors to enhance system efficiency. Notable earlier positions include Police Communications Manager in Flagstaff and Contract Communications Instructor for the North Central Texas Council of Governments. Education includes a Bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas.
