Laura Sanchez is a seasoned program manager currently with the City of Dearborn, holding the position since January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Interim Deputy Director and Small Business Project Manager for Wayne County Economic Development, as well as Community and Policy Manager for the Office of Councilmember Raquel Castañeda-López. Laura's background features significant community organizing work, including roles at the Washtenaw ID Project and SENAME, focusing on support for marginalized populations. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs / Women and Gender Studies from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
