Robert Festerman is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as Accountant III and Pension Administrator for the City of Dearborn since November 2022. Prior to this role, Robert worked as a Senior Fiscal Analyst for Lancaster County, SC Government, and held multiple positions at the City of Dearborn, including Senior Accountant and Pension Administrator. Robert's earlier experience includes working as an Audit Associate at Grant Thornton LLP, where responsibilities involved financial statement audits and client communication. Additionally, Robert has served as a Tax Intern at Rehmann, a Police Officer at the Wayne County Sheriff's Department, and a Transportation Security Officer with the US Department of Homeland Security. Education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from Walsh College and dual Associate's Degrees from Schoolcraft College.
