Kyong Song

Kyong Song has extensive experience in budgeting and financial analysis, currently serving as the Budget Manager for the City of DeLand since January 2013. In this role, Kyong plans and coordinates the city’s operating budget and capital improvement program, prepares revenue and expenditure forecasts, and ensures compliance with state regulations. Previous positions include Financial Analyst roles at Siemens Energy in Wind Power Supply Chain Management and Gas Turbine Engineering, where Kyong was responsible for project revenue forecasting and budget management. Additional experience includes providing tax advice at H&R Block, working as an Engineering Technician at Siemens Energy, and serving as an Intergraph Designer. Kyong holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.
