Public Safety Team

The Public Safety Team in the City of DeLand is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the community through emergency response, law enforcement, public safety communications, and fire protection services. Comprising firefighters, the Fire Chief, the Chief of Police, and the Public Safety PIO, this team addresses emergencies, coordinates public safety efforts, and disseminates critical information to the public, ensuring a well-prepared and resilient community.
