Monika Johnson

Monika Johnson, MBA, currently serves as a Human Resources Specialist for the City of Destin since January 2023. Prior to this role, Monika gained diverse experience in human resources at the University of South Alabama Health, holding positions such as Recruiter for the Health System, Benefits/Compensation Generalist, and Human Resources Intern from March 2021 to March 2022. Monika's earlier career includes roles as a Cake Decorator at Pollman's Bake Shop and Publix Super Markets, as well as a Cake Decorator and Cashier at Target from 2010 to 2015. Monika holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Alabama, completed in May 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, awarded in July 2021.
