Andie Taverna serves as the Senior Advisor to the Deputy Mayor for the City of Detroit, leading priority projects in health, safety, and public transportation since December 2022. Previously, Andie worked at The White House as a Senior Policy Advisor for Infrastructure Implementation, advising on broadband, water, and environmental programs. Prior roles include Senior Advisor to the Chief Recovery Officer at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, focusing on policy development for COVID recovery programs, and Senior Advisor at the State of Michigan's Department of Health & Human Services, where strategic responses to health crises were directed. From 2013 to 2017, Andie served as Chief of Staff for the Council of Economic Advisers at The White House. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from the University of Michigan and studies at Yale Law School.
