Bethany J. Howard

Bethany J. Howard, MCD, currently serves as the City Walls Project Manager for the City of Detroit, focusing on public art initiatives and blight remediation projects. Previous roles include Director of Sustainable Homes at Eastside Community Network, where Bethany led efforts to support homeowners and foster housing stability, and Climate Equity Project Manager, coordinating various sustainability initiatives. Bethany also has experience as a Wraparound Facilitator at Black Family Development Inc. and held research positions at the National Institutes of Health and the Institute of Afrourbanism. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Community Development and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy, along with various relevant certifications and training.
