Christa McLellan

Christa McLellan is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in public finance and accounting. Currently serving as an Advisor and Deputy CFO/Treasurer for the City of Detroit since January 2017, Christa previously held the position of Deputy Treasurer for Financial Services at Wayne County Michigan from October 2010 to January 2017, overseeing a significant cash and investment portfolio and leading a senior management team. Prior roles include Director of Financial Reporting at Wayne County, Senior Manager at Rehmann and KPMG, and Director of Grants Compliance. Additionally, Christa has contributed to education as an Adjunct Accounting Instructor at Oakland Community College. Christa holds a BBA in Business and Accounting from UNM Anderson School of Management and has a foundation in education from Central Michigan University.
