Jessica Parker serves as the Chief Enforcement Officer for the City of Detroit since October 2018, overseeing the enforcement of the Property Maintenance Code across all property types. Prior to this role, Jessica held the position of Assistant Director within the City of Detroit's General Services Department from September 2017 to October 2018, where responsibilities included managing financial operations against budget constraints and overseeing vendor contract performance. Jessica began a career in public service as a Petty Officer Second Class in the U.S. Coast Guard from May 1997 to July 2002, working as a Medical Technician in various locations across the United States. Jessica holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, earned in June 2002.
