Keegan Mahoney is an experienced program director currently serving the City of Detroit since September 2018, focusing on policy and implementation. Prior to this role, Mahoney was the Program Director at the Hudson-Webber Foundation from July 2013 to September 2018, leading the analysis and management of an annual grant portfolio of $7-$8 million aimed at enhancing Detroit's quality of life. Mahoney also held the position of Director of Grants at the United Way for Southeastern Michigan from November 2008 to July 2013, where efforts were directed towards transforming the organization to better address community needs in the wake of the Great Recession. Earlier experience includes serving as Housing Development Director at the Greater Corktown Development Corporation from May 2004 to November 2008, where community and economic development initiatives were coordinated in a historically significant Detroit neighborhood. Mahoney holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology from the University of Michigan.
