Tony G. Geara

Tony G. Geara, P.E., PTOE, currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Mobility Innovation and ITS & Traffic Engineer for the City of Detroit. Previously, Tony held positions as Lead Transportation Engineer at WSP USA and Senior Traffic Engineer at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff. Additionally, Tony has experience as a Civil Engineering Instructor at Australian University and as a Design Engineer at TEC Engineering. Tony G. Geara is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Traffic, ITS, and Mobility at Wayne State University College of Engineering, expected to complete in December 2024, and holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation and Construction from the University of Cincinnati, obtained between 2004 and 2007.
