Joel D. Walters

Joel D. Walters is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in music, marketing, and event management. Currently serving as the Marketing and Events Director for the City of Dickinson since October 2022, Walters also holds the position of President at the Dickinson Area Concert Association since June 2019. As an Instructor of Music, Piano at Dickinson State University since August 2011, Walters has contributed to music education while previously working as Multimedia Manager & Visitor Support at the Dickinson Convention & Visitors Bureau from January 2015 to September 2022. Educational credentials include a Master of Music in Piano Performance with a focus on collaboration from North Dakota State University, as well as dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication and Music Performance from Dickinson State University.
