Lizz Wiegandt

Lizz Wiegandt currently serves as the Director of The Reading Academy since February 2023 and is actively involved with the City of Doral as a member of the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and as a Cultural Affairs Ambassador. Additionally, Lizz Wiegandt participates in the M-D School Board's Advisory Council and fulfills the role of Founder & CEO of the Professional Women’s Council of South Florida, which focuses on empowering women through networking and support. Previously, Lizz Wiegandt served as President of the Women’s Marketing Council, steering efforts to advance professional women’s growth. Lizz Wiegandt has also held positions as Cadillac Sales Director for Mary Kay Inc. and as a Professor at Miami Dade College, and possesses advanced degrees in Educational/Instructional Technology, Linguistics, and Applied Linguistics from institutions such as Nova Southeastern University and Columbia University.
