Vice Mayor Maureen Porras, Esq. currently serves as the Vice Mayor of the City of Doral since December 2022, having previously represented the city's residents as a Councilwoman. In addition to public service, Porras is the Director of Immigration Legal Services at Church World Service, managing legal operations and providing community outreach since February 2016. Prior roles include Managing Attorney, Associate Attorney at Sibirsky Law Firm, Legal Intern at David Willis Law Group, Student Clinician at the Immigrant Rights Clinic, and Office Assistant at Brauwerman Law Firm. Porras gained initial experience as a Congressional Intern for U.S. Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Florida International University.
