Gerard Batista

Gerard Batista is an experienced public works professional currently serving as the Field Services Manager for the City of Duarte since October 2018, where responsibilities include supervising maintenance crews and addressing citizen requests. Concurrently, Gerard holds the position of Adjunct Public Works Instructor at Citrus College, focusing on municipal tree care and green-scape management. Previously, Gerard worked as the Field Operations Manager for the City of San Gabriel from November 2014 to October 2018, overseeing street maintenance and reporting documentation. Gerard's career with the City of Duarte began in 2005 as a Field Services Supervisor, prior to advancing to the managerial role. Gerard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the University of La Verne and an Associate of Science in Public Works from Citrus College.
