Joe Pregler

Joe Pregler has extensive work experience in the technology and information security field. Joe began their career in 1998 at Flexsteel Industries Inc. as an Office Automation Technician. In 2001, they joined the City of Dubuque, Iowa, where they held various positions over the years. Joe started as an Information Technology Specialist and later became a Lead Application/Network Analyst. From 2019 to 2023, they served as a Senior Network/Systems Administrator. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Information Services Security Officer at the City of Dubuque.

Joe Pregler graduated from Clarke University in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1998, they attended Northeast Iowa Community College-Peosta and earned an Associate's degree in Computer Science. In their earlier years, Joe attended Wahlert High School from 1992 to 1996, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period.
