Kyesha Jennings

Kyesha Jennings is an accomplished creative professional with extensive experience in content production and writing. Currently serving as a Creative Content Producer for the City of Durham since December 2022, Jennings also contributes as a Freelance Writer for INDY Week and previously for Vox Media, LLC. across multiple projects. Jennings held the position of Content Director at the North Carolina Arts Council and has managed social media strategies for various organizations, including ModEarth and the Beats n Bars Hip Hop Festival. Additionally, Jennings has served as an English Lecturer at NC State University and has engaged with the hip-hop community through artist hospitality and conference direction roles. Academically, Jennings is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Literature at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, holding a Master of Arts in English and African American Literature from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Lincoln University.
